“The owner, Jairo, is really involved and you can tell he actually cares about the experience here. It doesn't feel like one of those overcrowded gyms just trying to squeeze people in.”

Lakeview, Chicago
A private boutique floor built for people who want to train properly, with a coach if they want one and without the crowd either way.

Falcon is deliberately small. Members say the thing they notice first is that they never wait for a rack or a machine, so an hour here is an hour of training rather than an hour of queuing.

Certified trainers work one-to-one with everyone from complete beginners to competitive lifters. You do not need to arrive knowing what you are doing. The first introduction workout is free, and it exists so you can find out whether this is for you before you commit to anything.

The floor is fitted with Arsenal Strength equipment and it gets added to regularly. Falcon is family-run and the owner is in the building, which is why “always clean” shows up in review after review.
The facility
Everything is on one boutique floor at the corner of Clark and Broadway. Small enough that you are never waiting, kitted out well enough that you are not compromising.

What you get on the floor
The floor is fitted with Arsenal Strength plate-loaded and selectorised machines, and the owner keeps adding to it.
The most repeated line in our Google reviews. It is a small private floor, so you get the rack when you want the rack.
Somewhere to sit before or after a session, or between clients if you are training people here.
A quiet spot to answer emails or write up a session without leaving the building.
Door entry runs off your phone once you are set up, so your training does not depend on someone being at a desk.

One-to-one coaching
Personal training is the main thing we do. You work one-to-one with a certified trainer who builds the sessions around your goal, your schedule and whatever your body is currently willing to do. Beginners are the most common first session we run, so arriving with no idea what you are doing is normal, not a problem.
Session pricing depends on the trainer and the package, so we talk it through rather than post a price list. Come in for the free first session and ask.
Membership
Membership gets you the floor and the equipment. Personal training is priced separately and depends on the trainer and how many sessions you want, so we talk it through rather than publish a list. Either way, the first introduction workout is free.
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP
ROLLING MONTHLY
Full access to the private floor and everything on it, on a rolling monthly basis.
$49.99 per month plus a $75 annual maintenance fee. No initiation fee, no cancellation fee, no term commitment. Personal training, day/week/month passes and trainer floor rental are priced on enquiry.
Community
Falcon runs Lift Club: free community workouts where members, trainers and anyone curious enough to turn up train through the stations together. Past events have included a free HYROX-style session with sled pushes, ski erg, wall balls and burpees, plus a Valentine's edition that was mostly gains and good vibes. All levels, every time.

Your first session
You'll come to 2831 N Clark St, on the corner of Clark and Broadway, and a trainer will meet you at the door. You'll talk through what you're after for a few minutes, then actually train: an introductory workout scaled to whatever level you're at right now. Bring trainers and a water bottle. That's it. Nobody is going to put you on the spot and nobody is going to hard-sell you a package at the end.
